Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud (born August 1, 1921) is the sixth and current King of Saudi Arabia. Although he did not formally ascend the throne until August 3, 2005, he has served as Saudi Arabia's de facto ruler since 1995, when his brother Fahd was incapacitated by a stroke. He is one of the world's last remaining absolute monarchs, and is one of the world's wealthiest royals. He is believed to have had over 30 wives, and fathered more than 35 children.
