The Battle of Schrute Farms is a fictional battle of the American Civil War that took place at the beet farm of the character Dwight Schrute from the American TV comedy The Office. While several members of Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch were visiting Gettysburg on a corporate retreat, Dwight claimed that the Battle of Schrute Farms was the nothernmost battle of the Civil War, and also held the distinction of having the highest number of DPA's (deaths per acres) of any battle. Oscar rejected Dwight's claim, saying that no such battle ever took place.

Late in the episode, a Civil War historian working at Gettysburg confirmed that there was in fact a Battle of Schrute Farms. He showed a brief documentary explaining that despite its name, no actual battle ever took place. Instead, the Battle of Schrute Farms was essentially an "Underground Railroad" for  for pacifist homosexuals, who spent the war years in artistic pursuits.
